ISRO is hiring IT Interns and Project Trainees; know how to apply, don’t miss opportunity

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has introduced its Internship Scheme and Student Project Trainee Scheme tailored specifically for IT students across India. This initiative aims to provide students with invaluable hands-on experience in cutting-edge space research.

Eligibility for the program is open to undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students in Science/Technology disciplines. Applicants must be Indian citizens currently enrolled in accredited Indian or international universities, or those who have completed their studies within six months of applying.

Key Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must possess a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 60%, or a CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale.
  • The internship duration is capped at a maximum of forty-five days.

It’s important to note that Project Trainees/Interns will not receive any stipend, remuneration, or financial assistance during the program. Additionally, accommodation facilities within DoS/ISRO Centres/Units will not be provided. However, subject to availability, Centres/Units may offer Guest House/Hostel Accommodation facilities on a chargeable basis or quarters for accommodation on a sharing basis, with charges collected on par with employees. Furthermore, students will be granted access to canteen facilities on par with regular employees.
