The State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest lender, has invited applications for the recruitment of 150 Trade Finance Officers (TFO) under the Specialist Officer (SO) category.

स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडिया (SBI) अंतर्गत व्यापार वित्त अधिकारी पदांची 150 रिक्त जागा भरण्यासाठी पदांनुसार पात्र असणाऱ्या उमेदवारांकडून अर्ज मागविण्यात येत आहे. अर्ज ऑनलाईन पद्धतीने करायचा आहे. अर्ज करण्याची शेवटची तारीख 27 जून 2024 आहे.

The positions are spread across two locations: Hyderabad and Kolkata. Selected candidates will be offered a six-month contract with a chance for extension based on performance.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must possess a graduation degree (any discipline) from a government-recognized university or institution.
A Certificate in Forex from the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF) is mandatory.
Prior experience in Trade Finance processing (minimum 2 years) as an executive in a supervisory role at a Scheduled Commercial Bank is preferred.
Candidates with certifications like CDCS (Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists), Certificate in Trade Finance, or Certificate in International Banking will be given preference.
Age Limit: 23-32 years

Selection Process:

Applications will be shortlisted based on qualifications and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The interview will be for 100 marks, and the qualifying marks will be determined by the bank. A final merit list will be prepared based solely on the interview scores.

Salary and Benefits:

The selected candidates can expect a starting salary in the range of Rs. 48,170 to Rs. 69,810 (pay scale subject to revision). Additionally, they will be entitled to benefits like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Provident Fund, Contributory Pension Fund (NPS), Leave Fare Concession (LFC), Medical Facility, and other perquisites as per bank rules.
